The mark keeps its colors
On light grounds the body is deep teal (#003D35) and the accent amber (#B8650A). On dark grounds the body is white and the accent the lighter amber (#FFB95A). On black, the same as on dark.
Never tinted, never inverted, never recolored by a theme or a season, never given effects. The single-color mark exists only for engraving and one-color print.
Clear space: a quarter of the mark's height on every side, with nothing inside it. Minimum size: 24 px tall on screen, 8 mm tall in print.

Warning colors, red for danger and amber fills for caution, belong to the app's verdicts and never to the brand. Never red, pink or gold as a brand accent.
Typography
Roboto, the app's own face: the wordmark and headlines in Roboto Medium, body text in Roboto Regular, emphasis, sparingly, in Roboto Bold. Apache-2.0, embeddable in print and on the web. Sentence case everywhere; American English; numbers as figures. The copy diet: what happened, then what it means, one idea per line.
Lockups
The mark stands at the wordmark's cap height with a gap of a third of it; stacked, the mark is two and a half caps tall. The wordmark never appears without the mark on a first use. Horizontal and stacked lockups exist for light, dark and black grounds; the wordmark alone in teal and white. All of them are in the ZIP below.
The Verdetto code, and the voice
The app's own codes share one family: rounded runs, rounded finder rings, the amber top-left eye. It is Verdetto's signature on a card, a poster, the share screen. It is never offered to people as a style for their own codes, and the portrait mark, not a code, is the logo.
Voice: plain, specific, unhurried. Say what happened, then what it means. The absolutes we state: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking by Verdetto, nothing about you kept by us. We never call a code, a site or a check safe or verified; we show what was checked and what was found. We never claim that no data reaches us, never ask for money as a gift, never name a founder, never use a mascot.
The "Built on Verdetto" badge
This is the form the badge is shown in: the lockup unaltered with the words "Built on", at a legible size, linked to verdettoqr.com where the surface allows a link, never as the product's own name or icon, and never modified, recolored, animated or combined with another mark. Who may show it, and on what conditions, is set by the Verdetto Community License. The badge is for products approved under the Verdetto Community License; write to support@verdettoqr.com to ask. Using the engine under its Apache-2.0 license gives no right to the name, the icon or the badge.
Approved channels
The Verdetto Community License treats two kinds of build as approved without a separate request: a build made by a distribution service listed here, from Verdetto's own tagged release source unchanged, under the build recipe Verdetto submitted or accepted for it; and an unmodified copy of a release Verdetto itself signed, wherever it is redistributed. This list is the record of those approvals.
- Builds from Verdetto's source: F-Droid, under the recipe Verdetto submits to fdroiddata. A build F-Droid verifies as reproducing Verdetto's own release is Verdetto's build.
- Unmodified copies of releases Verdetto signed: IzzyOnDroid, GitHub releases, and the clients that install from them.
Changes to this list are dated in the site's public source history.

Verdetto and the Verdetto QR mark are trademarks. A United States application for VERDETTO is pending (serial no. 50092495). Use TM where a symbol is wanted; never the registered symbol before the certificate. The Verdetto Community License governs use of the name and the mark by others.
